CELEBRATION OF MASS BY POPE FRANCIS

His Holiness Pope Francis will celebrate mass at UON Grounds on Thursday October 26th from 10.00 am. Over one million Catholics are expected to attend the mass that will be presided over by the Pope. The Papal Alter will hold 60 Bishops from all the Dioceses of Kenya during the Holy Mass

The Pope will be in the country from November 25th to 27th, 2015.and Kenya will be the first African country to host His Holiness since he became Pope in 2013.

His Holiness Pope Francis will arrive in the country on Wednesday November 25, 2015 and pay a courtesy call and hold talks with the President of the Republic of Kenya.

The three-day papal visit is a milestone and a blessing for Kenya, having had the privilege of hosting a Pope on three previous occasions. Pope John Paul II visited Kenya in 1980, 1985 and 1995.
