The data communication team has this week done an overhaul of the whole CBPS PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) communication. This is an effort to increase efficiency in the telephone communication, and upgrade of the telecommunications to a much newer technology, reduce noise and increase in customer handling capacity.

PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) is mostly used in companies with lots of staff. This system of communication has a single access number with multiple lines which controls all incoming and outgoing calls; connect outside callers with inside extension lines and internal extensions with each other.
