NAIROBI INNOVATION WEEK 2017-CALL FOR RESEARCH PAPERS

The Nairobi Innovation Week 2017 (NIW2017) will be held between March 6th and 10th 2017. The Theme for NIW2017 is "Innovating to Solve Pressing Local and Global Challenges". If you would like to participate by submitting a research paper, kindly consider the following sub themes:

 

1. Agents of Change: Children, Adolescent and Young Adults

 

2. Tools to Enable and Facilitate Innovations

 

3. The Startup Movement as an avenue for solving pressing challenges

 

4. Harnessing Maturing Digital Technologies (e.g. mobile financial

services, Cloud, Big Data) for pressing challenges

 

5. Exploiting Emerging Digital Technologies (e.g. 3D, wearables, sensors,

drones etc) for pressing challenges

 

6. Developing 21st century mindsets (collaboration, creativity, critical

thinking, Design Thinking, future of learning etc)

 

7. Government: Enabler and Adopter of Innovations

 

8. Innovations for Sustainable Development Goals at Sub National Level

 

Keep in mind the following dates:

 

- Deadline for Abstracts: 22nd Nov 2016

 

- Notification of acceptance of Abstracts: 30th Nov 2016

 

- Deadline for Full papers: 23rd Dec 2016

 

- Notification for Full paper acceptance: 21st Jan 2017

 

- Deadline for Camera ready papers: 5th Feb 2017.
