Nominated auditees from the Central Administration were today trained on how to use Quality Management Information System (Q-Pulse). This is yet another move by ICT Center to advance service delivery to its esteemed stakeholders and consequently, make University Of Nairobi the answer to Africa’s pinnacle of research and commitment to scholarly excellence.

Q-Pulse is a management information system that operates under eight major principals of management; costumer focus, leadership, continual improvement (through planning, acting and checking) and involvement of people in a mutually beneficial basis.

As a software program, it helps users in managing quality, safety and risks effectively through modules such as; ISO Document Module, Training Module, Audit Module, Assets Module, People Module, Suppliers Module and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) Module.   Equipped with skills of using such modules, members of staff from the University will be able to serve clients diligently with the aim of ensuring evident product realization, service measurement, analysis and improvement, resource management, management responsibility and apposite control of documents and records.

Stakeholders will get to enjoy dimensions of quality service delivery ranging from; timeliness, completeness, courtesy, consistency, acceptability, accuracy and responsiveness.

The training was facilitated by Richard Mwangi, David Wekesa, Francis Muli and Alice Ngigi and covered by Abook Brian; all from the ICT Center (Chiromo).
