Huawei ICT Competition is a global competition for university and college talents with ICT background. It aims to drive the development of high-quality ICT talent, promote efficient mapping of talent supply and demand, and further contribute to a sustainable talent ecosystem. Six outstanding students qualified for the Global Final Competition Stage and are representing Kenya.
University of Nairobi ICT Academy through School of Computing and Informatics facilitated a boot camp training venue for the six students from Kenya who qualified for Global Final Round in Huawei ICT Competition. The two full day event was supervised by Huawei team and adhered to all the COVID 19 measures.
We take this time to congratulate the whole team and above of all, our student, Maluki Muthusi from School of Computing and Informatics who was award for Qualifying the Global Final and wish him the best.
University of Nairobi was also proud to host the Global Final Competition for Team Kenya on 7th November 2020 from 9AM to 6PM. University of Nairobi provided fast and stable internet connection amongst other requirements to ensure smooth operations.
We continuously offer support and collaborate with Huawei Technologies Kenya on the Huawei ICT Academy Program, Huawei ICT Competition and Huawei Graduate Trainee program, which have immense benefits to our students.
