The ICT department is a relatively new section in the University. It has become one of the most vital departments in smooth running of the University. The growth has been attributed to the various sub-sections under ICT which are MIS, User Support, NIS, and Communications. The department has grown from an initial staff of 10 to more than 150 members of staff currently. As the department grows, so does the need for personal growth. The recent promotion of staff in the various sub-sections is a welcome move and will act as motivation for the staff and their peers.
