How to use Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams works ONLY your desktop/laptop and not on your mobile devices.

Request log in credentials through  ICT Centre.

1. Download Microsoft Teams and install on your computer.

2. Once installed, open the application and enter your username. Your username should be your university email address but without the 'bi' part. becomes '

3. For first time login, you will be required to change your password, proceed with this until successfully changed.

4. Once logged in to the application, click on 'Calendar' on the left panel.

5. If you have been invited to any event, e.g. a meeting or a live event it will appear in the calendar on the date and time it is to take place. Click on this and it will take you to a window with the details and 'Join' button. Click on 'Join' to access the event.
