ICT Center is a service department. The Center provides it's services to other UoN departments at NO fees, or "Level of Effort"
The Centre offers the following services: -
- Information Systems Development and deployment
- Communication & Network Infrastructure services
- User Support and Maintenance Services
- Consultancy, Innovation and R&D
On the international front, ICT Centre has on behalf of the university, engaged with Microsoft, Google, Zoom, Cisco, HP, Oracle, Pluralsight, and Huawei.
For Huawei, ICT offers a Certification Training which is charged at Ksh 15,000 for UoN students and staff, and Ksh 25,000 for others for a period of 8 weeks.
Further, ICT Center also provides server hosting services to Research Projects by Faculty, UNES consultancies, as well as Partners. Virtual server monthly costs start at Ksh 12,000 per month.
