The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a service unit whose mandate is to provide university computer network services, analyse, develop and maintain management information systems application to support as well as help in meeting the academic and administrative needs of university. Our goal at ICT therefore, is to ensure that staff and students of the University of Nairobi have guaranteed access to information communication technology facilities that helps in learning, teaching and research.
At ICT, we have well-trained and committed staff that interfaces with each other to ensure efficient and effective provision of our core services to the University community namely:
- Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Network and Infrastructure Services
- Communications Services
- E-learning
- User Support and Maintenance
For proper coordination of its activity the ICT has a small but efficient
administrative team.
