University of Nairobi in conjunction with the Ministry of Health (MoH) launched the Integrated Digital Health Platform (IDH)- AfyaKE at the University Health Services (UHS) on February 14, 2023.

The event was graced by the vice chancellor Prof Stephen Kiama, top University management and a delegation from the ministry of health. 

The university of Nairobi Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama lead the university fraternity in mourning prof George Magoha who was the former vice chancellor of the University of Nairobi.

University of Nairobi' s health service is set to migrate to digital systems and records. This will go a long way in reducing paper  work and reducing work load for the personnel at the UHS .This will also help patients receive services easily.
