First edition of 2020 Ranking Web of Universities(webometrics) have been released. University of Nairobi maintains its top position as the best university in Kenya and East Africa.

The latest report released on January 28, 2020 also shows that the University of Nairobi Ranks position 11 in Africa and position 1,018 in the world.

 Worldwide University Ranking

Harvard University has been ranked as the best university in the world yet again. Stanford University came second, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of California Berkeley. learn more

In Africa, the top five universities all came from South Africa. University of Cape Town was ranked the best in Africa and 275 worldwide, followed by Stellenbosch at 423 , university of the Witwatersrand 431, University of Pretoria 446 and University of Kwazulu Natal  at 619 world wide.Learn more
