Mr. David Wekesa addressed all central website web champions today on the 11th may 2020  via  a recorded audio. In his address, he highlighted three crucial parameters  to be worked on namely: Impact, Transparency and Presence. Mr. David encouraged web champions to continue doing the good work in spite of the covid-19 pandemic. He applauded those who are making their websites vibrant. He congratulated Finance, ICT, dean of students etc in his weekly report dubbed “Monday report” where he ranks the best performing units.

Mr. Wekesa reiterated that Champions should pay attention on Impact parameter which consists of backlinks and referring domains. He noted that most champions have done very well on the presence parameter. He also noted that most champions have done a commendable job on transparency but needs to put more effort on cleaning up of Google scholar in their respective units.
