Huawei ICT Academy workshop which was held on Friday 29th November 2019. The University of Nairobi was invited as a partner.

The University of Nairobi shared a presentation of how it offers the HCIA class (i.e. during the students’ long holiday) for a 4 week session. We also show cased how its best preforming students won themselves a certification and a six months internship to Huawei Centre or a three months internship at University of Nairobi, ICT Centre.

The University of Nairobi, Huawei ICT Academy emerged third best academy out of 30 Universities academies in the country. We managed to certify over 20 students out of 64 trained students in both cloud and network track. See below:

Under Huawei ICT Competition, 12 of our best students qualified for National Finals Competition where they competed against other selected students from other universities. Following this, the emerging top students will qualify for Regional Finals Competition at South Africa and then to Global Finals Competition at China.
