Pursuant to the provisions of University of Nairobi statute No. III, The Vice Chancellor has made the following appointments:

 Prof. Enos Njeru, PhD has been appointed as the  Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor, Human Resource and Administration for a period of six months. prior to his appointment , Prof. Enos  was the immediate Principal of College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Prof Prof. Margaret Hutchinson, PhD  has been appointed as the Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance Planning and Development(FPD)

Prof. Mohammed Jama, PhD has been appointed as the Ag. Principal, College of Humanities and Social Sciences(CHSS) Prior to his appointment, he has been the Deputy Principal College of Humanities and Social Sciences. 

Prof. Attiya Warris, PhD has been appointed Ag, Deputy Principal, College of Humanities and Social Sciences.Prof Attiya has been the director of Research and Enterprises.
