The University of Nairobi has now turned to online teaching to ensure that its more than 60,000 students complete their studies.The Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs has urged all teaching Staff to implement on-line teaching and learning as much as possible. Any challenges encountered should be directed to the Director ICT.

This is a mentorship program for female students who are currently in their fourth or fifth year in University and are persuing STEM Courses.
First group of central administration web champions kick started a four (4) days web drive.The main focus of the drive is the web presence parameter. The web drive is taking place at Chiromo Campus- ICT corporate lab.
Performance contract review took place on 2nd March 2020, 4th floor university of Nairobi towers. The director ICT Mr Paul Kariuki spearheaded the team which comprised ICT department head of sections.
Performance indicators which were discussed include but not limited to the following:
The Sensitization was organized and hosted by the Office of Career Services in partnership with Huawei Technologies Ltd.The sensitization took place On Wednesday February 19th 2020 at the School of Computing and Informatics computer lab. Students were sensitized on the Huawei ICT Certifications.
