The University of Nairobi has been ranked best university in Kenya and in the East and Central Africa Region for more than 5 years in row in the just released Webometrics Ranking. The Ranking web of Universities (Webometrics) has released the July 2021 edition of the Webometrics report placing the University of Nairobi position 1 in Kenya, 13 in Africa and 1054 in the world. The Webometrics ranking covers more than 31,000 institutions of higher learning across the globe; this ranking places the University of Nairobi among the top 5% best Universities in the world.
