UniRank  has ranked the University of Nairobi in position 7 as the most popular university in Africa. All the top six universities came from south Africa.  

The university of Nairobi vice- chancellor prof Kiama presided over the online launch of re-engineered  Human resource management  information system (HRMIS) that took place on Friday July 2020.

The vice Chancellor highlighted the challenges the newly re-engineered will address.
