Prof. Kiama has  asked the media  to proactively highlight activities of institutions of higher learning to help solve some challenges facing communities.

The University of Nairobi, the Star and Radio Africa Group in general have agreed to work closely for mutual benefit and for the benefit of the public. Prof Kiama said this on Friday when editors ,sales and marketing managers from The Star led by Head of Content Paul Ilado, Radio Africa Group and Chief Operating Officer, Agnes Kalekye, paid him a courtesy call.

UoN Vice Chancellor , Stephen Kiama said he wants to reform young people and tap into their skills so that they can contribute positively to the nation.Prof Kiama said this during the address to the University community which took place on Friday 26 June 2020
