UoN TO OFFER DUAL AND JOINT DEGREES

The university of Nairobi will now start offering dual and joint degrees . This is after the University's senate approval. 

A dual degree is designed and delivered by two or more partner institutions. A student receives a qualification from each of the partner institutions. The student is required to meet the requirements of the institutions to be awarded a degree by each of the institutions.

THE STAR AND UoN TO WORK TOGETHER.

Prof. Kiama has  asked the media  to proactively highlight activities of institutions of higher learning to help solve some challenges facing communities.

The University of Nairobi, the Star and Radio Africa Group in general have agreed to work closely for mutual benefit and for the benefit of the public. Prof Kiama said this on Friday when editors ,sales and marketing managers from The Star led by Head of Content Paul Ilado, Radio Africa Group and Chief Operating Officer, Agnes Kalekye, paid him a courtesy call.

Deputy vice chancellor academic affairs prof Julius Ogeng'o has applauded the director ICT Mr Paul Kariuki and director ODEL for their guidance and facilitation of the online trainings which have been happening for the past few months in preparation of virtual exams. 

SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT UNDERGRADUATE HELB LOANS NOW OPEN.

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) announced that applications were open for the second and subsequent Undergraduate Loan 2020/2021 financial year.

The institution invited applications from Kenyan students admitted in government-sponsored or self-sponsored programs in public and private universities in Kenya that are recognized by the commission for University Education (CUE).

KUCCPS INTER-INSTITUTION TRANSFER IS NOW OPEN.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has opened the online application system for inter-institutional transfer applications. The application is open for KCSE(2019) candidates who have been successfully placed in various universities and TVET institutions but wish to transfer to other institutions. The students  portal for inter-institution application will be open for a period of two (2) months from June 16, 2020 to August 16, 2020.
