UON Proposes 2.5% of Covid-19 Funds to go to Research

The University  through a memo to the Senate's Ad-hoc committes on Covid-19 situation, has proposed that 2.5% of the funds for Covid-19 be used for the development of diagnostics, therpeutics and vaccines. They also proposed on tax exempti8ns for equipment, reagentsand other scientific commodities for Covid-19 and ither infectious diseases.

This proposal was made by the College of Healgh Sciences -led consortium which comprises of The Kenya Health Federation, Kenya Health Informatics Association and The Health Sector Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance.

Telkom to provide data bundles to UoN to aid E-Learning Programme

Telkom has partnered with the University to provide tailored data solution for E-learning programmes. Over 40,000 faculty members staff and students will be provided with customized data solution across the 13 campuses during the Covid-19 pandemic period. 

The Soma na Telkom Bundles  will be a monthly post paid data bundles that will enable the University population  to continue working and studying from wherever they are based.
