Research Week 2021 is the fourth annual event hosted by the University of Nairobi each year. The week features over ten different conferences covering a diverse range of academic disciplines, one of which is bound to meet your interest and area of expertise. The conferences provide a forum to enable you to present your work, engage with your colleagues, and learn about the latest developments in your field.
The University of Nairobi's ICT center has lined up a one week online training for first year students. The training which will start on 27th Sep 2021 to 1st Oct 2021 is aimed at equipping students with skills on various online learning tools and other ICT services which are offered in the University of Nairobi.
The University of Nairobi held its 65th graduation ceremony today 24th Sep 2021- virtually .The ceremony was live on NTV, UoN youtube channel,Uon Website and other social media platforms.A total of 4,205 students were awarded certificates at the 65th graduation; 1 Higher Doctorate Degree, 79 PhD Degrees, 378 Masters, 17 postgraduate diplomas, 3,459 Bachelors, 271 Diplomas.

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2020/2021) and members of the public, that the 65th Graduation Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Friday, September 24, 2021 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at the Great Court. The Ranking web of Universities (Webometrics) has released the July 2021 edition of the Webometrics report placing the University of Nairobi position 1 in Kenya, 13 in Africa and 1054 in the world.

Huawei ICT Competition is a global competition for university and college talents with ICT background. It aims to drive the development of high-quality ICT talent, promote efficient mapping of talent supply and demand, and further contribute to a sustainable talent ecosystem. Six outstanding students qualified for the Global Final Competition Stage and are representing Kenya.
